Sword appearances, haori, outfits, and gauntlets are cosmetic. Charms strengthen Musashi. Early-purchase bonuses differ by SKU and by store cutoff times after the release-date change.

What each stack actually contains

Standard is the base game. Deluxe is base game plus Deluxe Kit. Premium Deluxe is base game plus Deluxe Kit plus Premium Kit. Buying a kit later requires the base game. Capcom warns that kit contents may also be sold separately later, so watch for duplicate transactions. You may need the latest patch to use the items.

Deluxe Kit: Red Armor; sword appearances Raizan, Enryuu, Bamboo & Panda, Whittled Oar; charms Oni Lady, Little Dancer, Mentor; Oni Gauntlet appearance Crimson Lotus. Premium Kit: Oni Lady outfits Bird Call and Snow Camellia (plus Elegance on the products page); Okuni outfits Flower Dance, Goldfish Dance, Oni Dance; haori Hellfire, Moonlight, Cloudbiter; and a five-track in-game mini digital soundtrack on the title screen. The soundtrack plays from a title-screen feature; it does not replace battle music.

Claim everything at Spirit Mirror > Additional Content. Change sword skins, haori, outfits, and gauntlets under Spirit Mirror > Change Appearance. Charms sit in Main Menu > Equipment > Charms. Those menus unlock separately as you play. Materials Pack: Red Souls I is 2500 red souls, also claimed at the Spirit Mirror, and is not a fourth retail SKU.

Early bonuses after the date move

Standard early purchase includes Charm: Lion Dog and Sword Appearance: Sealed Curse. Deluxe and Premium add Charm: White Monkey and Sword Appearance: White Lion. Capcom moved the public release from 25 September 2026 to 4 September 2026 and converted the digital pre-order bonus into an Early Adopter Bonus with store-specific cutoffs. PlayStation 5, Xbox, Windows, and Switch 2 digital versions used an EDT/PDT cutoff on September 24, 2026. Steam and Epic used September 25, 2026 evening Pacific time.

Lion Dog is a charm modeled after the komainu, and charms grant a special effect when equipped. Sealed Curse and White Lion are sword appearances only. They do not change damage. White Monkey is the other Deluxe/Premium charm. If you are buying Standard after those cutoffs, do not expect the early set unless a later rerelease says otherwise.

Physical early-adopter notes point at local retailers. Capcom Town store links exist for US digital Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. This page quotes Steam US prices because those are the sealed dollar figures. Other regions will differ.

Spirit Mirror, stores, and what not to double-buy

Every kit item, early bonus, Red Souls pack, and demo charm ends at a Spirit Mirror after that furniture unlocks. Additional Content is the claim list. Change Appearance is the cosmetic list. Charms live under Equipment. The mini soundtrack is a title-screen player with five tracks, including the main theme. Capcom warns you may need the latest version of the game to use the content, and that the base game is required for kits sold separately.

Steam US prices are $69.99 / $79.99 / $89.99 for the three retail stacks, $19.99 per kit, $29.99 for the Premium Deluxe Kit bundle, plus the Red Souls DLC. Other stores print their own currency. PlayStation, Xbox, Epic, Microsoft Store, Switch 2, and Capcom Town each have Standard, Deluxe, and Premium buttons on the English products page. Physical PS5 and Xbox copies are listed at GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon.

Sword appearances Raizan, Enryuu, Bamboo & Panda, Whittled Oar, Sealed Curse, and White Lion do not change damage. Red Armor, Crimson Lotus, haori, and character outfits are likewise cosmetics. Lion Dog, White Monkey, Oni Lady, Little Dancer, and Mentor are the published charms that do change Musashi when equipped. Keep that split in mind when a store screenshot looks like a new weapon.
