Blazing State
Blazing State is the parry buff that strengthens Musashi’s blade and yields more blue souls. It sits here with the rest of the game’s own words: Oni Gauntlet, Genma, Malice, Issen, Spirit Mirror, Onimusha, Dark Mass, Lion Dog, and Hozuki Pouch. Japanese forms are included where Capcom printed them. Definitions stay close to official copy and achievement text rather than fan slang.

Use the Japanese form when a store does
Oni Gauntlet is 鬼の篭手. Genma is 幻魔. Malice is 瘴気. Issen is 一閃. Spirit Mirror is 破魔鏡. Onimusha is 鬼武者. Lion Dog is 狛犬. Those pairs are the ones Japanese storefronts and the Japanese FAQ actually use. If you are reading a Capcom.co.jp article, search the Japanese term first.
Blazing State has no Japanese pair in the sealed glossary because the English action page never printed one. Hozuki Pouch appears in Steam achievement text as equipment you can enhance to maximum level. Dark Mass is the resentment knot the gauntlet can absorb for a vision of the past. None of these entries invent drop rates.

Combat words you will see on Steam and in menus
Issen is the critical counter. Break Issen is the exhaustion finisher that can target a boss body part. Chain Issen is the follow-up tap as an Issen lands. Blazing State is the parry streak buff that feeds extra blue souls. Parry slams and wall hits chew stamina. Deflect returns shots. Reflex Dodge and Grab Reversal sit on perfect evades. Oni Armaments spend blue souls. Yellow heals. Red pays for equipment and skills.
Spirit Mirror is the hub for add-on claims, appearance changes, and the Red Souls pack. It unlocks during the campaign, not on the title screen. Charms and Hozuki Pouches have their own enhancement records. Lion Dogs are both an official-site minigame companion and an early-purchase charm. Dark Masses are story visions, not a currency.
